Fall, Fabulous Fall

Well it seems like just the other day, as a matter of fact it was just the other day, I was concerned because the air conditioner in my car has broken. Today Fall has arrived, I sure hope it stays for awhile, but knowing Va. it is just a tease of what Fall could be like and never is down here. Anyway I was making Christmas cards hoping to bring cooler weather to mind a couple of days ago and this morning I'm sitting at my computer with all the windows open and the fans turned off wearing a fleece jacket. I know I could close a window or two and take off the jacket, but the crisp cool air feels so good. Anyway I sat down and made this card for a Virtual Card Swap I'm in and wanted to share it with everyone. It was fun coloring in the images with watercolors and the waterbrush, always reminds me of the hours I spent coloring with my kids especially my girls. I think I always had more fun than they did. When I saw this stamp set from the new catalog I just had to order it, reminds me of my kids and fall is my favorite time of the year. Hope you enjoy it. Uses Fabulous Fall Stamp set, new papers from Enchanted paper pack, the new Autumn Leaves paper leaves (oh they are to die for, so cute and easy for cards or those fall layouts), the new edge anchors and the natural twill and hemp fibers.

Santa's Here

Santa is jolly and is one of the newest images that is on the October Stamp of the Month. Paired up with the Creative Holiday Basic paper and a smidgen of red from the Everlasting paper pack, Santa pops off the paper with Liquid Applique for a fun dimensional technique that makes this card special.

Origami Christmas Tree Card

Here is a card we had fun making at hostess club on Tuesday. Using the newest papers from CTMH, the Creative Holiday Basics makes this tree fun and it's already decorated with the little dots of color. Easy to construct it's all in the fold.
